You will need:

  • YarnArt Jeans yarn (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 50 g/160 m)
  • 1.5-1.75 mm crochet hook
  • 6 mm safety eyes
  • Two buttons
  • Sewing thread, needle and scissors
  • Fiberfill

sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)

Arms (make 2)

R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (3 sc, inc) repeat 3 times [15]
R 4-16: 15 sc (13 rows)
R 17: (3 sc, dec) repeat 3 times [12]
Stuff 2/3 full.
R 18: Fold the top opening flat and 5 sc through both sides.
Fasten off.

Legs and body (one piece)

Legs (make 2)

With brown yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]

Change to orange yarn:

Straps (make 2)

Start crochet a strap on the back of the pants.
Crochet in turning rows:
1 ch, 3 sc – in every row
Make 17-18 rows.
At the end of the strap crochet a chain that can function as a button hole or button loop.

Sew two buttons on the front of the pants.
Sew the hole between legs closed with 2-3 stitches.

Assembly

Sew the head to the body.
Sew the ears to the head on R 24 at the distance in front of 6-7 sc from each other.
Sew the tail to the back body piece.
