Materials
• Yarn: Alize Cotton Gold
• Hook size: 2.0 mm and 1.75 mm
• Black safety eyes
• Black embroidery floss for mouth
• Sewing needle and scissors
• Fiberfill

Abbreviation
MR – magic ring
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
st – stitch

BLO – back loops only
FLO – front loops only
inc – increase ( 2 sc from 1 st)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)
Number in () at the end is a total number of st in that row.

Head
Start with a dark green yarn:
1. 6 sc in MR
2. inc*6 (12 st)
3. (1 sc, inc)*6 (18 st)
4. (2 sc, inc)*6 (24 st)
5. (3 sc, inc)*6 (30 st)

6. (4 sc, inc) *6 (36 st)
7. (5 sc, inc)*6 (42 st)
8. (6 s, inc)*6 (48 st)
9 – 15. 48 sc
Change color to light green:
16. BLO – 48 sl st (48 st)
17. BLO from row 16 and 17 together-48 sc (48 st)

18. (6 sc, dec)*6 (42 st)
20. (5 sc, dec)*6 (36 st)
21. (4 sc, dec)*6 (30 st)
22. (3 sc, dec)*6 (24 st)
23. (2 sc, dec)*6 (18 st)

Cheeks
8 sc in MR, sl st.

Tongue
Ch 6, from the 2-nd ch from the hook – 5 sc, sl st. Leave the tail for sewing.

Eyes
White of the eye – make 2, hook 1.75mm

Fold edges together and single crochet them with 4 sc. Leave the tail for sewing.

Legs (make 2)
Ch 10, from the 2-nd ch from the hook:
1. 8 sc, inc, on the other side of ch – 8 sc, inc (20

9. 12 sc, start making the heel. Work in turns:

You should have 10 sc in a row (minus 2 sl st). Continue to crochet the leg:
10-24. 10 sc
Make a couple of sc if you need to arrive to the side of the leg. Fold edges together and single crochet them with 5 sc.

Body
Connect the white color yarn to the first leg. Ch 5 and connect the second leg:
25. FLO second leg – 5 Sc, BLO second leg – 5 sc, 5 sc on the chain, FLO first leg – 5 sc, BLO
first leg – 5 sc, 5 sc on the chain (30 st)

Change color to white.
Continue to change color of the yarn every 2 row.

Change color to green:

4-n. Make “n” rows, till required diameter (try and fit it to your frog in the process) Si st and cut the yarn. Leave the tail for sewing.

Duck-head
1. 6 sc in MR
