Wings
Work in white yarn.
The piece is worked into a sliding loop and consists of 4 parts: one small lower wing, two large upper wings, and another small lower wing.
Do not tighten the sliding loop until the end.

Into the sliding loop work:
Ch 7, from the 3rd ch from the hook work 3 dc, 2 sc (small wing),
1 sc into the loop,
ch 10, from the 4th ch from the hook work 3 tr, 2 dc, 2 sc (large wing),
1 sc into the loop,
then repeat the large wing and the small wing in the same way.

Finish with sl st.
Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Tighten the sliding loop.
Assembly
Sew the wings to the back of the bee.
Face Shaping
Start with eye indentations.
Between R6 and R7 of the body, mark two points (T1 and T3) with pins, spacing them 5 sc apart.
From these points, mark two more points (T2 and T4) one sc away to the left and right.

Insert the needle at T1 and bring it out at T3, then insert at T4 and bring it out at T2.
Gently pull the thread to create indentation, secure with a knot, and repeat once more.
Do not pull too tightly.
Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Glue the eyes in place.
Using white thread, embroider the whites of the eyes.
Using black thread, embroider eyelashes and a smile.
Attach the keychain clasp.
