This plush dragon is crocheted using YarnArt Dolce Baby yarn with a 3.25 mm crochet hook, creating a soft velvety texture that works beautifully for cuddly toys. The legs and body are worked together in one piece, while the arms are attached with single crochet as you continue shaping the body. With the recommended materials, the finished Toothless dragon measures about 21–22 cm (8.5 inches) tall, making it a perfect small plush toy size. If you enjoy fantasy creatures, you might also like the tiny hedgehog shared on one of our blogs.

The pattern works especially well with plush yarn for a soft toy look, while cotton yarn can create a slightly smaller and more defined texture. To complete this project you will need yarn, a suitable crochet hook, 18–20 mm safety eyes, fiberfill stuffing, a little yellow cotton yarn for the nose, and basic crochet tools. If you enjoy character toys, you may also like the baby elephant shared on our blog as another quick and charming crochet project.
